UTSC Instructional Centre in Toronto

The Instructional Centre is the first building on the University of Toronto Scarborough's north campus. Opened in 2011, it was designed by Diamond Schmitt Architects.
The 165,000 square feet facility includes research, teaching and study spaces, as well as state-of-the-art lecture halls and classrooms. It is home to the Departments of Management, Computer and Mathematical Sciences and Cooperative Learning.
The building features include a four-storey sky-lit atrium, a rooftop garden, a courtyard and a two-storey glass bridge.
The Instructional Centre is certified LEED Silver: it features 23,700 square feet of rooftop solar panels among other sustainable elements.
